Snow Leopard OS X 10.6
The latest operating system for the Mac packs a heck of a punch for the price.
Apple has been hard at work on the successor to Leopard OS X 10.5, the wildly popular operating system that currently ships with all Macs. However, on August 28th, Snow Leopard will go on sale for a mere $29 upgrade and promises to deliver more power and better speed than any Mac OS to date.
With features like 64-bit computing, faster backups to Time Machine and a smaller footprint, Snow Leopard stands to take the OS world by storm. The $29 single license upgrade is available for pre-order right now and will be on people’s door steps this Friday.
If you’re interested in getting your own copy, check out Amazon for all of the pre-order details.

I’ve got my pre-order in and can’t wait to get it this Friday. It sucks about some of the compatibility issues with programs though, hopefully Apple will get those worked out.
